## The honest read

A 2025 customer wrote that their HVAC system quit in the hottest weather while their wife was having surgery and would be laid up at home; Mindy got them scheduled, and Will had the system up and running the day before she came home from the hospital. Lakes Region Heating and Air Conditioning describes itself on its website as working on furnaces, boilers, heat pumps and ductless or central air conditioning for New Hampshire homeowners and business managers, and says it has 34 years in business.

A 2023 customer said the team installed central AC in their home. A 2023 customer said Lakes Region installed an a/c unit in their finished basement at a price they called very fair, with the job done on time. A 2025 customer had a minisplit installed at the tail end of summer and said the team helped them choose a unit and explained the choices. A few months later, that 2025 customer emailed at 10pm about forced hot water baseboards overheating on the upper floor and got a call at 9:30am the next morning; Chad pointed them to their oil company but added, "if they can't help you, call us back and we'll do whatever we can to help."

A 2025 customer said Sam came out promptly when one of their units was making a strange noise, and found and addressed the root cause. A 2024 customer said Nick came out and diagnosed the issue with an older AC unit that was not working properly. A 2022 customer said Eric showed up when he was supposed to and took time to explain several maintenance items.

A 2024 customer who said they had been a customer for 15 years wrote that an AC service appointment was rescheduled 4 times and came 2 months late, and that a furnace service was rescheduled 3 times and could not be completed in 2 1/2 months before they left for the season.

**Strengths:**
- An urgent AC repair — a 2025 customer said Will had it running in time
- A next-morning callback — a 2025 customer emailed at 10pm, got a 9:30am call
- Root-cause repair — a 2025 customer said Sam fixed a unit's strange noise
- A basement AC install — a 2023 customer called the price very fair

**Concerns:**
- Rescheduled appointments — a 2024 customer said AC service was rescheduled 4 times
