## The honest read

Leavitt Electric is an electrical contractor whose website says its electricians can install anything from outdoor security lighting to a whole-home generator. The company says it has been in business for 20 years.

On Google it holds 5 stars from 66 ratings. A recent customer wrote that Collin did the job "installing exterior lights, replacing outlets with GFI and a new circuit." Corey came out to estimate a wiring foul-up in a recent customer's garage, said it was a small job and that he could fix it right then; that customer wrote the garage wiring was working properly one day after the call.

A recent customer who wanted mini splits installed said Corey quoted a panel upgrade and the mini splits as well, and that Collin and Alex cleaned up everything before heading out. A recent customer wrote that Brett solved their two electrical mysteries after troubleshooting.

A 2026 customer said the company came out the same day to quote an outlet for a new stove. That 2026 customer said the final charge matched the quote. A 2025 reviewer wrote about an electrical upgrade at The Art Center, where several areas lacked outlets, and said Cory arrived within 10 minutes to walk through the space. That 2025 reviewer said Brett handled the installation and the work was completed ahead of schedule.
