## The honest read

A low-maintenance landscaping plan for a backyard where grass had been difficult to grow: a September 2026 customer said Chris listened to their ideas and helped develop that plan. Another customer, writing that month, described about two years of Chris cutting grass, mulching, reseeding and installing new lawns at their house. That customer praised his prices and willingness to work with homeowners on their needs. Leclerc & Son Lawn Care is based in Southampton, Massachusetts, and says it serves Southampton.

A separate September 12, 2026 customer described last-minute driveway plowing for himself and his wife, followed by hiring the worker to mow their lawn. The customer praised prompt replies and dedication.

Older customers described other yard work. In a May 2024 Google review, a homeowner said Chris graded and leveled the former site of an above-ground pool so a play set could go there. He also edged and cleaned up overgrown flower beds; the homeowner praised the work and its value. In a May 2019 review, another customer said Chris helped with lawn work on short notice despite being fully booked, and described him as efficient and pleasant.

The company advertises free estimates and says it is insured. Its website gives differing timelines for its experience and history: the homepage describes 13 years of experience, 13 years of lawn care and service for over 13 years; the About page says 19-plus years of serving Southampton and surrounding communities, but also refers to 13 years. Elsewhere on the About page, the company says it has served the area since 2012 and gives 2012 as its founding year.

**Strengths:**
- Landscaping plans — September 2026 customer praised Chris's listening and low-maintenance plan
- Prompt replies — September 2026 plowing customer praised quick responses
- Free estimates — advertised by the company

**Where sources disagree:**
- The homepage describes 13 years of experience and lawn care, and over 13 years of service. The About page claims 19-plus years serving Southampton and surrounding communities but also refers to 13 years; it separately says service began in 2012 and gives 2012 as the founding year. These differing timelines are the company's own claims.
