## The honest read

Leonardo Roias Contractors is a painting outfit whose Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 131084, is active on the state registry, with Leonardo J. Roias as holder of record. It holds a 4.8-star Google rating from 10 ratings.

A 2023 customer said the company painted the inside of their house in a timely manner with no issues. In a 2022 review, a customer said Leo and his crew worked around their very early morning schedule while several rooms were painted and a lot of holes were repaired; that 2022 customer said they planned to use them again for some kitchen work. A 2022 reviewer said the walls were prepped, furniture was moved and protected, and extra time went into painting the walls. A 2022 customer wrote that the owner and an employee both spoke Portuguese, the customer's preferred language.

A 2025 customer who gave three stars said Leo quoted the exterior at about 50-60% less than other contractors and said he could come in about two weeks, but it was about 2-3 months later that he came to do the job. That 2025 customer said they had to chase him to find out when it would be done. The same 2025 customer said the workers did a good job, but the house started peeling and bubbling after a year and 9 months; the customer was not sure whether the work or the house caused it, and said Leo first said he would come look at it, then did not respond to further messages.

**Strengths:**
- Interior painting — a 2023 customer said it was timely, with no issues
- Hole repairs — a 2022 customer had a lot of holes repaired
- Furniture protection — a 2022 reviewer said furniture was moved and protected
- Portuguese spoken — a 2022 customer said the owner and an employee spoke it

**Concerns:**
- Slow start — a 2025 customer was told two weeks; he came 2-3 months later
- Peeling follow-up — a 2025 customer said Leo stopped responding about it
- Hard to reach — a 2025 customer said they had to chase him
