--- title: "LG General Construction Inc." description: "LG General Construction Inc. works out of 414 Middleborough Ave in East Taunton and takes the whole span of a house: roofing, siding, gutters, windows and " doc_version: "2026-09-21" last_updated: "2026-09-21" --- # LG General Construction Inc. **Trade:** General Contractor / Remodeling · **Address:** 414 Middleborough Ave, East Taunton, MA 02718 · **Phone:** (917) 939-7487 · **Website:** https://lggcontractorinc.com · **Languages:** English **Rating: not yet scored** — 0 reviews across 3 sources is too little evidence for an honest number. ## The honest read LG General Construction Inc. works out of 414 Middleborough Ave in East Taunton and takes the whole span of a house: roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms and decks, kitchens, bathrooms, additions and new home building, across Dartmouth, New Bedford, Taunton, Fall River and into parts of Rhode Island. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #197923, is active on the state registry and held in the company's own name. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+ and describes a corporation Luis Murudumbay incorporated on 8/15/2019, with one employee. Two things are worth clearing up on the phone. The home page says the company has served the region for over 12 years, while its Better Business Bureau profile dates the corporation to 2019 and six years in business — ask Murudumbay how long he has been doing this work, and under what name. The website is also only partly finished: the About, Services and Contact pages still carry unedited placeholder copy and a demo contact block with a San Diego address and an example email, none of it his. Go by the East Taunton address and (917) 939-7487. For a homeowner around Taunton or New Bedford pricing a roof, an addition or a full remodel, this is a registered contractor worth a quote. Ask who will be on site day to day given the one-employee filing, get the scope, price and schedule in writing, and ask for a couple of recent local jobs you can go look at. **Strengths:** - Active state registration — Massachusetts HIC #197923 in the company's name - A+ BBB grade — on its East Taunton profile - Full-scope building — roofing, siding, kitchens, baths, additions, new homes **Concerns:** - Years in business — site says 12 years, BBB records a 2019 incorporation - Unfinished website — placeholder copy and a demo San Diego contact block **Where sources disagree:** - The company's home page says it has served the region for over 12 years; its Better Business Bureau profile records the corporation as incorporated on 8/15/2019, with six years in business. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #197923 is active on the state registry, in the company's own name _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 197923 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: LG GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INC” - Better Business Bureau grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/east-taunton/profile/general-contractor/lg-general-construction-inc-0021-541680) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A corporation incorporated 8/15/2019 with one employee, owned by Luis Murudumbay _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/east-taunton/profile/general-contractor/lg-general-construction-inc-0021-541680) — “BBB profile for LG General Construction Inc. at 414 Middleborough Ave, East Taunton MA, phone (917) 939-7487 — NOT BBB-accredited but graded…” - Roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, additions and new home building _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - Works Dartmouth, New Bedford, Taunton and Fall River, and says it takes jobs in parts of Rhode Island _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Dartmouth, New Bedford, Taunton, Fall River” - The home page says the company has served the region for over 12 years, while its Better Business Bureau profile dates the corporation to 2019 and six years in business _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “Company history (self-reported): The home page says the company has 'proudly provided top-quality craftsmanship and five-star home remodelin…” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/east-taunton/profile/general-contractor/lg-general-construction-inc-0021-541680) — “BBB profile for LG General Construction Inc. at 414 Middleborough Ave, East Taunton MA, phone (917) 939-7487 — NOT BBB-accredited but graded…” - The company website is only partly finished — its About, Services and Contact pages still carry unedited placeholder copy and a demo contact block listing a San Diego address and an example email _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - Specializes in General Contractor / Remodeling _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 197923 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: LG GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INC” - Also offers Roofing _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - Also offers Windows / Siding / Gutters _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - Also offers Kitchen Remodel _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” - Also offers Bathroom Remodel _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://lggcontractorinc.com) — “LG General Construction Inc. is a Taunton-area general contractor offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows and doors, sunrooms, decks, kit…” ## License Status: **active** (#197923, hic) — verified against the official MA state registry on 2026-08-12, never self-reported.
