## The honest read

Lint Patrol cleans and installs dryer vents, and its website lists Branford, Hamden, Milford, New Haven, Woodbridge and other nearby towns as its service area. On Google it holds 5 stars from 273 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+.

Jerome spent about two hours cleaning a recent customer's long dryer vent line and took part of the dryer apart to do it. For a recent customer with a complicated dryer vent system in a condo building from the 1800s, Jerome explained the system and worked to find a solution. JB showed a recent customer that the dryer vents were very old, deteriorated and not up to code, warned that cleaning them would poke holes in them, and crafted a plan to replace them. A recent customer with a dryer vent emergency said Jerome came over within a few hours and resolved the issue. JB installed a recent customer's dryer venting system and now cleans it regularly.

A 2025 customer said JB replaced the flex hose leaving the dryer, installed a new exterior vent flap and cleaned out the built-up lint in one visit. A 2025 customer said JB reinstalled the dryer vent and re-ran dryer hoses through the attic. A 2023 customer said LG customer service referred them to Lint Patrol, and JB diagnosed and fixed the error-prone dryer the same day. A 2023 customer said the owner, Jerome Smith, replaced the clamps on the inside vent and did not charge for those parts.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672011, as active, held by Lint Patrol LLC.

**Strengths:**
- Dryer vent cleaning — Jerome spent about two hours on a recent customer's line
- An emergency visit — a recent customer said Jerome came within a few hours
- Old vent assessment — JB showed a recent customer the vents were not up to code
- Before-and-after pictures — JB shared them with a recent customer after cleaning
