Its website says it has been in business 17 years, while its Houzz profile describes over 50 years of experience in design/build and project management. The company holds an active Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0705558, in the name Litchfield Hills Kitchen & Bath LLC. Several customers name their designers. In a September 2026 Google review, a homeowner whose kitchen was gutted said designer Kate Yurgelun listened, kept the budget in mind and scheduled the subcontractors well. Another September 2026 reviewer lived at home through a major kitchen and bath remodel and praised Kate, Joey's team and Marc Lemieux Plumbing. A September 2025 review credits Larry for a new kitchen and bathroom tile installed on time. The written history goes back to 2018 on Houzz. In a January 2023 review, a couple who bought an older home in Goshen said a complete renovation was finished within six months, with Don as kitchen designer and Dean installing the cabinets and appliances. A 2018 reviewer described an open-shelving kitchen others said could not be done, finished ahead of schedule and within the budget discussed. In a 2019 review, a tub was converted to a walk-in shower with each trade step coordinated so there was no waiting. Google shows 5 stars from 21 ratings and Houzz 4.9 from 48. **Strengths:** - Named designers — reviewers credit Kate, Don and Peter for their kitchens - Schedule kept — several reviews report work finished on or ahead of time - Gut renovations — 2026 reviewers describe full kitchen and bath remodels **Where sources disagree:** - Houzz lists HIC.0622736, while the state registration and BuildZoom carry HIC.0705558 - The website states 17 years in business; the Houzz profile cites over 50 years of experience ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Active Connecticut home improvement registration HIC.0705558, held by Litchfield Hills Kitchen & Bath LLC _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0705558 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: LITCHFIELD HILLS KITCHEN & BATH LLC” - Self-reported 17 years in business; its Houzz profile cites over 50 years of design/build experience _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.lhkitchenbath.com) — “Self-reported 17 years in business” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-remodelers/litchfield-hills-kitchen-and-bath-pfvwus-pf~1670346726) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): Over 50 years of experience in the design/build and project management business, includ…” - Houzz lists membership in the National Kitchen & Bath Association _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-remodelers/litchfield-hills-kitchen-and-bath-pfvwus-pf~1670346726) — “Listed certification: Member National Kitchen & Bath Association” - Offers free estimates, according to its website _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.lhkitchenbath.com) — “Stated offer (self-reported): free estimates” - Lists a service area including New Milford, Watertown, Warren, Litchfield and Washington _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.lhkitchenbath.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Norfolk, New Milford, Watertown, Warren, Winchester, Salisbury, Sharon, Canaan, North Canaan, Cornwall,…” - 5 stars from 21 Google ratings and 4.9 from 48 Houzz ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Litchfield%20Hills%20Kitchen%20%26%20Bath&query_place_id=ChIJd4bdd1-L54kRf0L7BUg3kdM) — “Google: 5★ from 21 ratings” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-remodelers/litchfield-hills-kitchen-and-bath-pfvwus-pf~1670346726) — “Houzz: 4.9★ from 48 ratings” - Designers praised by name in reviews from 2018 to 2026 _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21oR1YwdDBkMnN3Y3pOUVJFVmFkVVJYUW5aSWVuYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd391374805fb427f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmhGV0t0d2swczNQREVadURXQnZIenc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Highly recommend Litchfield Hills Kitchen & Bath!
