In a 2022 thread on r/StamfordCT, a commenter recommended it with a short line: "Long Ridge House Cleaning. Ask for Jeff." A 2013 customer hired Longridge to clean a house before moving in, after floor refinishing and painting had left dust and the previous owners had left the kitchen cabinets and appliances dirty. That 2013 customer said even the glass doorknobs were shining afterward. In a 2011 review, a customer whose 89-year-old father was hit by Hurricane Irene said they needed the walls and floors washed down before carpets went in. Jeff explained his team would do their best but was not sure he could get the wall 100% clean; that 2011 customer said that when the team finished, you could not tell the bleached area from the area they cleaned. A 2019 customer said Jeff and his team were on time and willing to accommodate a request on cleaning materials. A 2016 customer liked that they brought their own cleaning supplies. A 2012 customer said a clock in the bathroom and a glass vase in the basement were broken, shelves were left with streaks, and glass from the broken clock left on the floor ended up embedded in that customer's foot. **Strengths:** - A move-in clean — a 2013 customer said even glass doorknobs were shining - Post-hurricane wall washing — a 2011 customer could not tell the bleached area apart - Own cleaning supplies — a 2016 customer liked that they brought them **Concerns:** - Broken clock and vase — a 2012 customer also reported streaked shelves ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.7 stars from 26 ratings on HomeAdvisor and on Angi _(confidence: high)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.LongridgeHouseCleaning.28910883.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.7★ from 26 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/stamford/longridge-house-cleaning-service-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 4.7★ from 26 ratings” - Recommended in a 2022 r/StamfordCT thread _(confidence: medium)_ - [reddit.com](https://www.reddit.com/r/StamfordCT/comments/upoy4y/house_cleaner/i8noyz7/) — “r/StamfordCT — Long Ridge House Cleaning.
