Last 6 months: 9 reviews, 1 negative. ## The honest read LT Home Improvement LLC is a Danbury, CT roofing and siding company run by Luis Tintin, whom a 2016 Angi reviewer calls the owner and a 2026 reviewer calls its CEO. It says it has 28 years in business and serves Danbury, Bethel, New Milford, Ridgefield, Brookfield, Newtown and surrounding towns, with free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. It holds 4.9 stars from 108 Google ratings, 4.7 from 17 on HomeAdvisor and 4.7 from 16 on Angi, with reviews going back to 2007. The jobs customers describe are large exterior packages. A January 2026 reviewer had a new roof and gutters, rot repair under the siding, new specialty siding, a door, five windows and a re-roofed shed, and said Luis got their approval each time an issue raised the cost. A November 2025 customer listed a roof, siding with substructure repairs, custom window trim, soffits, gutters, two skylights and attic ventilation. A May 2026 reviewer came back five years after a roof for James Hardie siding, and foreman Toribio remembered the earlier job. Two reviewers, in December 2025 and April 2026, say Luis helped them through insurance claims. The older accounts are about roofing detail. In a 2016 Angi review, a homeowner described a New Fairfield house with 12 gables and extensive copper work, and then had Luis do a farmhouse roof in Somers, NY. A 2018 Angi reviewer said a six-man crew tore off and replaced a roof, two skylights and a ventilator in two days. The sharpest complaint is recent. A July 2026 Google reviewer whose basement flooded asked LT for a free reconstruction estimate in May 2026; the reviewer says Luis sent a supplement estimate of $38,231 straight to the insurer, $13,299 above the adjuster's figure and including $1,473 for roofing, then billed $2,493.42 for the estimate after the reviewer ended the agreement. The reviewer calls the estimate fraudulent and says LT later emailed that it would drop the billing if the post was deleted or edited. A 2015 Angi reviewer said part of a roof job was left unfinished. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0606790, is listed by the state as active, held by LT Home Improvement LLC. It has an A+ grade with the BBB and is BBB accredited. **Strengths:** - Whole-exterior jobs — 2025 and 2026 reviews describe roof, siding and windows together - Cost approvals — a 2026 customer said Luis asked before spending more - Insurance claims — two reviewers say Luis guided them through **Concerns:** - Billed free estimate — a 2026 reviewer disputes a $2,493.42 estimate charge - Unfinished roof section — a 2015 reviewer hired someone else to finish ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Active Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0606790, held by LT Home Improvement LLC _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0606790 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: LT HOME IMPROVEMENT LLC” - BBB grade of A+ and BBB accredited _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/roofing-contractors/lt-home-improvement-contracting-llc-0111-87048409) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/roofing-contractors/lt-home-improvement-contracting-llc-0111-87048409) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - 4.9 stars from 108 Google ratings; 4.7 from 17 on HomeAdvisor and 4.7 from 16 on Angi; reviews from 2007 to 2026 _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=LT%20Home%20Improvement%20llc&query_place_id=ChIJZX5DdD7_54kRBBCqDB7iP_g) — “Google: 4.9★ from 108 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/danbury/lt-home-improvement-contracting-llc-reviews-6214048.htm) — “Angi: 4.7★ from 16 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.LTHomeImprovement.136169231.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.7★ from 17 ratings” - Says it has 28 years in business, offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service, and serves the Danbury area _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.lthomeimprovementllc.com) — “Stated offer (self-reported): free estimates” - [Official Website](https://www.lthomeimprovementllc.com) — “Stated offer (self-reported): 24/7 emergency service” - [Official Website](https://www.lthomeimprovementllc.com) — “Self-reported 28 years in business” - [Official Website](https://www.lthomeimprovementllc.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Danbury, Bethel, York, Kent, New Milford, Ridgefield, Brookfield, Newtown, New Fairfield, Carmel, Putna…” - A January 2026 reviewer said Luis got approval each time an uncovered issue raised the cost _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSURZLTU2ejRBRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xf83fe21e0caa1004!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDY-56z4AE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Luis, his employees and his subcontractors are very skilled, pleasant, courteous, honest and apparently well connected among suppliers. …” - Two reviewers in 2025 and 2026 say Luis walked them through insurance claims _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pnMFkzQlBkVmR4YkZsUGJXRkxWRmxpWTE5SVYyYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xf83fe21e0caa1004!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjg0Y3BPdVdxbFlPbWFLVFliY19IV2c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Luis and his team are amazing!!
