## The honest read

Lucy’s Cleaning & Junk Removal LLC hauls junk and clears out basements, garages and whole houses, and holds a 5-star Google rating from 200 ratings. A recent customer says they came the same day, about an hour after the call.

The jobs run large. A recent customer hired them for an estate cleanout of a 4,000-square-foot home, a three-car garage, a barn and a shed on a very tight deadline. A recent reviewer says Shawn and his team removed a 20-year-old above-ground pool on a hot day, along with bags of trash, a mattress and box spring and a treadmill. A recent customer says Shawn and his team cleaned out a basement, let them decide what went back, what was donated and what was trash, then vacuumed the basement. A recent customer wrote that it was a father working alongside his two sons.

A 2026 customer said bigger companies would not take a pop-up camper, and that Shawn towed it away instead of cutting it up. A 2025 customer said Shawn demolished workshop cabinets damaged by water during a clean-out of an attic, garage and basement.

A recent customer who hired them to clean a new apartment said the floors were washed but still had residue; the company offered a touch-up cleaning, but that customer had hoped for a partial refund on the $400 job and did not receive an answer after that. A recent customer gave three stars and wrote "Poor quality work." Its BBB grade is D+, and the BBB lists one complaint.

**Strengths:**
- Same-day pickups — arrived within about an hour of the call
- Large estate cleanouts — a recent job covered a house, garage, barn and shed
- A pop-up camper — a 2026 customer said Shawn towed it away

**Concerns:**
- Apartment cleaning residue — a recent customer found residue on washed floors
- BBB grade D+ — the BBB lists one complaint
