## The honest read

A recent Google customer had a very tall tree removed by M&G Tree Services and said it could not have gone more smoothly, with the area left cleaner than it was before they arrived. The company's website says it removes trees of all sizes and lists West Hartford, Farmington, Simsbury, Avon, Newington, Rocky Hill, Cromwell and Bloomfield as its service area.

A recent Google customer said they trimmed some overgrown backyard trees and did it well. An Angi customer said M&G accommodated a day-of request and did safe, clean work. A recent customer who gave four stars said they arrived at the appointed time and cleaned up well.

In a 2025 review, a customer said owner Dave quoted the removal of 3.5 large trees and the crew started within a couple of days, removing a maple over a pool deck and a tree next to a driveway with power lines close by, without damage to the property. That 2025 customer said the cleanup left the yard looking better than before the trees came down.

A 2025 customer with massive trees in a very tight area said Renan came out the day after the call, noted he could start the next day, and that they worked both days until almost 8pm. A 2025 customer said Dave came out on a Sunday for an estimate and his team removed a pine leaning toward the house and a maple, each about 60-70 feet tall, within a week. A 2025 customer said the price was 35 to 45% cheaper than the other quotes they got.

In a 2025 review, a customer who mentioned the yard was a little rough after a large willow removal said Dave offered to "immediately send out a couple of guys to rack up and reseed the yard." A 2024 customer said Dave, the owner, came out on a Saturday to look at a downed tree and branch, and that the crew put down boards so the soft grass wouldn't get damaged; that 2024 customer also noted a slightly delayed arrival.

**Strengths:**
- Large tree removal — a 2025 customer had 3.5 large trees removed without damage
- A day-of request — a recent Angi customer said M&G accommodated it
- An on-time arrival — a recent customer said they came at the appointed time
- Competitive pricing — a 2025 customer said it was 35 to 45% cheaper

**Concerns:**
- Arrival timing — a 2024 customer noted a slightly delayed arrival
