# M & M Tile Installation **Trade:** Flooring · **Address:** 22 Redskin Trl, Groton, MA 01450 · **Phone:** (978) 448-5304 · **Languages:** English **Rating: 4.1/5** (medium confidence) — from 21 reviews across 2 sources. 100% of sentiment-scored reviews read net-positive. Last 6 months: 4 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read More than one M & M Tile customer says the same thing: they'd already tried someone else, or another contractor wouldn't touch the job, before Richard and Cindy took it on. One homeowner had three previous failed attempts at the same floor tile before M & M got it right. Another had just three small tiles coming up — too small a job for the bigger tile contractors, and not really what the smaller ones actually specialized in — and Richard fit them in anyway. Working out of Groton, the husband-and-wife team handles the full range of tile work: full shower rebuilds after a leak, torn out down to the subfloor and retiled from the bottom up; regrouting and grout repair on bathroom and kitchen floors; a kitchen backsplash with tight pattern requirements; and a tiled fireplace, where Richard swapped in a darker grout after the original color dried lighter than expected. A small chipped or cracked tile gets the same attention as a full renovation — one reviewer needed a single damaged tile replaced and said Richard was there within two days. The reviews describe the same working style every time: on-time arrivals, drop cloths down before starting, a clear walkthrough of the process, and a clean site when the job's done. Pricing comes up as fair and reasonable more than once, and several customers say they've already had Richard and Cindy back for a second or third project. Every review quoted, going back to 2022, is five stars. For tile installation, repair, or regrouting of any size, from a single tile to a full shower rebuild, this is a strong, well-documented choice. **Strengths:** - Takes small jobs — reviewers cite single-tile repairs other contractors declined - Fixes prior failures — several jobs redo tile work done wrong the first time - Full shower rebuilds — leaks repaired from the subfloor up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Google reviews average 4.9 stars from 23 ratings. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://maps.google.com/?cid=16196722965884462924&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “Google: 4.9★ from 23 ratings” - Reviewers repeatedly describe Richard and Cindy taking on small tile jobs — a few loose tiles, one damaged tile — that other contractors turned down. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21NelUydGtTbTFKUVRaSE1rZFljRVJYU1VWTk5tYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xe0c651b93af4674c!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmMzU2tkSm1JQTZHMkdYcERXSUVNNmc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Had three 24”x8” that were coming up in bathroom, job was too small for the larger tile contractors and the smaller contractors were inte…” - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNmeXVTb01nEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0xe0c651b93af4674c!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICfyuSoMg%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I had a small tile repair job of replacing a damaged tile.
