## The honest read

Mackevic Construction has been hired for bathroom remodels, a flooded-basement rebuild, snow plowing and, more lately, kitchen and garage door work.

A recent Google customer in Bethel said they handled a full kitchen remodel, from cabinets to countertops, without any delays and with daily updates. A recent Google customer in Newtown said they knocked out a punch list of repairs efficiently after a long winter. A 2025 Google reviewer said Tyler handled a new insulated garage door installation and explained everything clearly. A 2025 Google reviewer said Mike handled a track realignment and explained what they were doing.

In a 2009 Angi review, a customer said they had Viktor totally redo their master bath and update the other 1.5 bath in the house. A 2008 Angi customer said Mackevic Construction began work very quickly after two floods destroyed their finished basement, and that he installed tile and new walls, refinished the ceilings with recessed lighting, and did electrical and plumbing work. A 2019 Angi customer said Viktors included extras in the price and resolved unexpected issues quickly with limited additional cost.

A 2018 Angi customer said he came over during a snow storm to give an estimate, then plowed the driveway and cleaned the steps once the snow stopped. A 2018 Angi customer with a difficult driveway said he did an okay job but then said he would not do it again, though he did not charge for the plow.

**Strengths:**
- A kitchen remodel — a recent customer got daily updates and no delays
- A basement rebuild — a 2008 customer said work began very quickly
- A master bath redo — a 2009 customer said Viktor totally redid it

**Concerns:**
- A difficult driveway — a 2018 customer said he would not plow it again
