## The honest read

Maine Exterior Management describes itself on its Houzz profile as a landscape services company in Cumberland County that specializes in design-build hardscape projects. On HomeAdvisor it holds 3.8 stars from 18 ratings.

In a 2017 review, a customer said Troy and his team did their retaining wall, that the time from estimate to completion was quick, and that at the end of each day the area was cleared. A 2016 customer said Troy, Jim and the crew did their patio and also helped with projects that were not on the original request, adding stairs to the deck and preparing the area for a shed. A 2016 customer said the company extended their brick patio and was on time and on budget. In 2016, a customer who had tilled half their yard before a wedding date of 6/18/16 said Troy and his crew saved the day. In 2015, a customer said Troy and his crew responded to a yard cleanup request on very short notice, and called the work pricey but well done.

A 2019 customer wrote that they signed a contract, the company took a deposit, the job never started, and calls and email went unanswered. A 2019 customer said the deck was done acceptably for their wedding on the property, but the company did not come back to finish the rest of the work it had been paid in full for and would not return texts or calls. A 2016 customer said Troy stopped responding, his phone was no longer in service, and no one showed up to mow the lawn. In 2015, a customer said the company mowed only half the lawn on one visit, did not finish a yard cleanup in the rain, and that trimming damaged the skirting of their mobile home.

- A brick patio extension — a 2016 customer said it was on time and on budget
