That 2024 customer said Will and Tristan Zell responded immediately and gave a reasonable quote. The company describes itself as a specialist in unique and classic home renovations that has worked on New England housing stock for several decades, and it states 40 years in business. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A 2023 customer from Cumberland described a basement bonus space and a more spacious mudroom and half-bath/laundry room, and said Will was creative in settling on a direction where they had no exact plans. Another job was not a house at all: a 2023 customer said Will and his son built a new stage at the Portland Conservatory. A 2025 customer said Tristan finished their basement and praised his carpentry skills. **Strengths:** - A flooded basement rebuilt — a 2024 customer said it came in under budget - An on-time finish — a 2024 customer said work met their requested end date - A conservatory stage — a 2023 customer said Will and his son built it - Basement carpentry — a 2025 customer praised Tristan's carpentry on their basement ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2024 customer said the company rebuilt their flooded Falmouth Foreside basement within the requested end date and under budget _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNIMXJxT09REAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x72b1899173b475a4!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICH1rqOOQ%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ It's our honor to post this review of the exquisite work Maine Renovation did to save our Falmouth Foreside basement after crazy winter s…” - A 2024 customer said Will and Tristan Zell responded immediately and gave a reasonable quote _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNIMXJxT09REAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x72b1899173b475a4!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICH1rqOOQ%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ It's our honor to post this review of the exquisite work Maine Renovation did to save our Falmouth Foreside basement after crazy winter s…” - A 2023 Cumberland customer described a basement bonus space and a more spacious mudroom and half-bath/laundry room _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNsd2V6TzlBRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x72b1899173b475a4!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIClwezO9AE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Will and Tristan are super hard-working, considerate, responsive, transparent, and knowledgeable.
