A recent Google customer says not a single item was damaged and their team was mindful of walls, floors and tight spaces. On r/Danbury, a commenter wrote that a colleague recently used Marie's out of Southbury because its pricing was more favorable than Clancy. A 2024 customer said Glen, Frank, Anur, Xavier and Khalil moved a heavy 100 year old piano out of the house and down a hilly walkway, then packed the house and unpacked at the new one. A 2023 customer said Marie's handled two out-of-state moves and both ended up below the estimated price. A 2025 customer said the invoice was right in line with the initial estimate. A 2024 customer said they verbally confirmed a November 11th move date by phone, then were told by Suzanne there was no record of the confirmation and the date had been given to another client. A 2023 customer said the manager did not write down what was going and what was staying, said he'd remember, and called the workers lazy. **Strengths:** - Careful handling — a recent customer says not a single item was damaged - A 100-year-old piano — a 2024 customer said the team moved it down a walkway - An on-estimate invoice — a 2025 customer said it matched the estimate **Concerns:** - A lost move date — a 2024 customer said it went to another client ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has been in business 18 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](http://www.mariesmovers.com) — “Self-reported 18 years in business” - 4.5 stars from 110 Google ratings and an A+ Better Business Bureau grade _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Marie's%20Movers&query_place_id=ChIJqX7VCnzv54kRWuPqVlq5Xno) — “Google: 4.5★ from 110 ratings” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/southbury/profile/moving-companies/maries-movers-0111-87128495) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A recent customer says not a single item was damaged during the move _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tRNGMxUmFZa0paWldwc1UzTklPWGhFWDE5RlkzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7a5eb95a56eae35a!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkQ4c1RaYkJZZWpsU3NIOXhEX19FY3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend Marie’s Movers!
