Martel Real Estate is a small, family-run Lynn brokerage that says it's been placing Massachusetts and New Hampshire buyers and sellers for more than 45 years, and every one of its 14 Google reviews is five stars.

Stephen Martel owns the firm (per BBB, in business since 1988), and his daughter Kait Martel-Ghen and colleague Steve Mallia handle much of the client-facing work reviewers describe. In a 2022 review, one buyer called Kait "a lifeline" through a daunting seller's market after looking at more than 50 homes, eventually negotiating below asking price; the same year, another family credited the team with guiding three households in their extended family through purchases and sales over three years. A 2023 review described Steve walking a first-time buyer through four rounds of competing offers, gathering feedback from listing agents within hours of each one to sharpen the next bid. Two 2024 reviews add more of the same: Steve finding buyers quickly for a departing family's old house (and helping move furniture along the way), and Kaitlin staying involved with another family well after their sale had closed. Most recently, a 2025 review described Steve and Kait finding a buyer a property in southern New Hampshire while selling their childhood home in Massachusetts at the same time — a transaction the reviewer said carried real emotional weight alongside the logistics.
