A recent Google customer describes the driveway repaving Chris Martin laid out during the estimate: complete removal of the old driveway, 8-12 inches of crushed gravel laid and compacted, then 3" of asphalt with attention to grading for water runoff. That customer says the work was scheduled within a week, that Chris works with the crew, and that the large driveway was completed in less than a day. Afterward, the customer says, he gave instructions on when to allow cars, light trucks and heavy trucks on the surface, and offered to come back to fix any damage during the 4-6 weeks after the work.
