## The honest read

MB Kubisek says on its website that it was founded in 1976 with a focus on custom hardwood floors and has since added baseboard and trim work.

In an 1890 home in Old Lyme, Connecticut, a recent customer said Brett and his team at MB Kubisek refinished the original pine floors, with much of the work done by hand. That customer said Brett walked them through every finish option, gave a fair and reasonable price and coordinated with the other subcontractors on the renovation.

A recent customer said Brett matched their existing wood floors and left the completed rooms spotless. A recent customer said Brett installed a hardwood floor in a bedroom and completed the work in a timely manner. A recent reviewer who has been a local builder of high-end homes wrote that Brett has done floor installs and finishes for many years and is the one person that builder trusts with those clients.
