## The honest read

Mcafee Home Improvement L.L.C. is Chad McAfee's business; a 2024 customer who hired it for a total remodel of a full bathroom called Chad the owner of the company. That customer said the job covered painting the walls and ceilings, installing a new toilet, tub, vanity, countertops and sink, changing all the fixtures, and electrical work and plumbing in the room.

A 2023 customer said Chad took their master bathroom from a complete gut down to the studs, and that he had full access to the home while they were on vacation out of the country. A 2022 customer described an entire bathroom gutted and remodeled, including plumbing, tile work and lighting. In 2024, a customer said Chad helped them pick tiles that matched their existing bathroom style for a shower and kept the job site clean.

A 2026 customer said Chad did their kitchen and 2 1/2 baths in a condo, showed up when he said he would and worked many weekends to get the job done; that customer had gotten many quotes and said his price was lower than most of them. A 2023 customer said Chad replaced 11 interior doors and 2 external doors and started earlier than projected. In 2023, a customer whose roof was hit by a tree branch, causing exterior and interior damage, said Chad gave a very fair price, showed up at 9am on the dot when he said he would start, and completed the work in the timeframe he said he would. A 2022 customer said Chad replaced a shower valve quickly, ahead of out-of-town family arriving in a few days. A 2024 customer praised a redone deck, stringer and cement landing.

A 2026 customer gave one star, calling the company overpriced for outsourcing work and saying work that was discussed was not followed up on in a timely fashion. That customer also wrote that the owner did not hold a brush.

On Google the business holds 4.9 stars from 35 ratings.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0661423, as active, held by McAfee Home Improvement.
