## The honest read

McTernan Construction is a Middleborough, MA residential construction company. Its website says it provides services from roofing and siding to kitchen and bathroom remodeling and claims over 20 years of experience in Middleborough. It lists free estimates and 24/7 emergency service and says it is insured. Its MA HIC licence 209931 is active on the state registry.

The website names Middleborough, Plymouth, Barnstable, Bristol, Taunton and Norfolk as its service area.

In a 2026 review, Brett and his team resurfaced the front deck and installed and vented a microwave to the exterior of the house, and both projects came out great; that reviewer plans to have them build a back deck. Another 2026 review says Brett, Ryan and crew refaced a front porch and back deck, and that they have been hired again for additional work at the house. A 2025 review said Brett and his crew did a great job on a deck and were prompt, courteous and reasonable.

On a 2026 bathroom remodel, the tile work, vanity and fixtures were completed with precision and care, and the team kept everything clean and organized, per the review. For a bathtub remodel, a 2026 review says Brett met them at Lowe's to help guide them in picking out tile. A 2026 review of another bathroom remodel said Brett and his team arrived on time, worked hard all day and cleaned up every day.

A 2025 review said the business had been used for multiple projects and that Brett brought new life to many spaces in the home, both inside and out. Another 2025 review said they got back quickly about an estimate, came out to the house, and did a deck and several other jobs.

**Strengths:**
