Much of its stated work is municipal and highway-scale, the company lists certifications and project history with Massachusetts and Connecticut highway departments, the MBTA, Massport and the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, alongside residential landscaping. It holds active Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office certifications as both a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and a Portuguese Business Enterprise, current through 2029, and carries an A+ BBB rating with no complaints on file. The written record for residential customers is thin: just two reviews, one from 2017 calling the work good with no further detail, and one from 2020 describing a homeowner who exchanged emails on cost and scheduling, approved a site visit, and then never heard back. Given how little residential feedback exists relative to a company with three and a half decades of history, it's worth confirming directly that a residential inquiry will get a timely response, and asking for recent references from homeowner jobs specifically rather than the municipal work the company is better known for. **Strengths:** - Certified DBE/PBE — active Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office certifications through 2029 - Decades of experience — self-reported operating since 1991 with an A+ BBB standing **Concerns:** - Unresponsive follow-up — a 2020 review describes no further contact after a scheduled visit - Thin review history — only two written reviews on file since 2017 ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds active Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office certifications as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and a Portuguese Business Enterprise, both through 2029 _(confidence: high)_ - [Diversity Certification Registry](https://diversitycertification.mass.gov/BusinessDirectory/BusinessDirectorySearch.aspx) — “Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Portuguese Business Enterprise (PBE) certification 20050052 verified active — registry holder of rec…” - [Diversity Certification Registry](https://diversitycertification.mass.gov/BusinessDirectory/BusinessDirectorySearch.aspx) — “Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification 20050052 verified active — registry holder of …” - Self-reports operating since 1991, specializing in hydroseeding, lawn and sod installation, hardscaping and erosion control, with municipal and highway project work _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://medeiroshydroseeding.com) — “Medeiros Hydroseeding & Landscape Construction is a Monson, MA landscaping and construction company specialising in hydroseeding, lawn and s…” - [Official Website](https://medeiroshydroseeding.com) — “Company history (self-reported): The site states the company has been 'proudly serving Southern New England, Rhode Island and upstate New Yo…” - [Official Website](https://medeiroshydroseeding.com) — “Self-reported 35 years in business” - Carries an A+ BBB rating (not accredited), with no complaints, reviews or government actions published; owner is Brad Medeiros _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/monson/profile/landscape-contractors/medeiros-hydroseeding-landscape-construction-inc-0261-323884) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/monson/profile/landscape-contractors/medeiros-hydroseeding-landscape-construction-inc-0261-323884) — “BBB profile for Medeiros Hydroseeding & Landscape Construction, Inc. at 149 Bumstead Rd., Monson, MA 01057, phone (413) 267-4050: not BBB Ac…” - A 2020 review describes exchanging emails on cost and scheduling, approving a site visit, then never hearing back _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=7555649650310425494&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “2★ Visited site, Traded email on cost, availability.
