## The honest read

Medhaug Landscaping is a family-owned company based in Plymouth, working across Plymouth, Kingston, Duxbury, Cedarville and Carver on everything from patios and retaining walls to mowing, sod and mulch work. The company says it offers free on-site estimates for any job in the area.

The clearest account of its work comes from a 2026 review describing a 2020 yard renovation: a stone-and-weed backyard and a failing front wall were torn out, regraded, reseeded, and rebuilt with a retaining wall the customer said was built heavier than the minimum code required. The same review called the crew efficient and the price fair for the scope of the project.

For a Plymouth-area homeowner weighing a retaining wall or a larger yard redo, the one detailed account on file points to careful, above-code work — worth getting a written estimate and timeline locked in before the project starts.

**Strengths:**
- Retaining wall craftsmanship — built above minimum code on a 2020 project
- Fair pricing — a customer called the price fair for the scope
- Free estimates — offers free on-site quotes
