Last 6 months: 0 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Merrimack Roofing & Construction Group, working out of Chelmsford, is built around two things: full roof jobs and the bigger construction projects — additions, remodels, decks — that come with owning a home for decades. Every review on file, going back to 2023, describes the same person running the show: an owner named Chris, credited by name for keeping jobs on schedule and on budget. The written record runs 2023 through early 2025 — 13 Google reviews, all five stars, no negatives on file. A late-2024 review describes a re-roof where the crew found rotting subsurface wood and failing chimney flashing mid-job, documented it with photos before doing the extra work, and charged a reasonable price for it. A 2023 review from a longtime client lists a real range of projects handled over the years — home building, additions, bathrooms, cellars, decks, landscaping, and roofing — all credited to Chris personally as the reason they keep coming back. Other specific jobs from the 2023–2024 record include a porch roof replacement, with the customer already back in touch for a second project, and a bathroom remodel finished at a price the customer called fair. There's nothing critical in the written record to raise before calling. Anyone hiring them for a re-roof or a larger remodel can point to a genuine multi-year track record with the same owner still doing the work — worth confirming current availability and pricing directly, since the newest review on file is from spring 2025. **Strengths:** - Re-roof work — photo-documented repairs for rot and flashing - Full-scope contractor — handles additions, remodels and decks - Bathroom remodeling — finished at a fair price - Owner-led crew — Chris named directly by repeat clients ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Re-roof included photo-documented repairs for rotting subsurface wood and flashing _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUR2bXBPakFnEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0xb4c4126c7564e78!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDvmpOjAg%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Have used Merrimack in the past for many different projects and went back for a re-roof job.
