## The honest read

Metro West Heating Oil Inc delivers home heating oil from 494 Franklin St in Framingham. Its Google page carries just two ratings, both one star.

The longer of the two, from December 2024, describes an oil delivery driver banging on the door and shouting that he couldn't wait two minutes for the customer to move furniture blocking his way, waking her two sick children. She wrote that the office then blamed her for not being ready, saying the company had never called to confirm the delivery, and only offered to pass a message along when she asked to speak with someone in charge. A February 2025 review was shorter: "Very rude people."

**Concerns:**
- Driver conduct — 2024 review describes a driver shouting at a customer
- Office response — same customer says delivery was never confirmed in advance
- Staff courtesy — 2025 Google review calls the people very rude
