Gower describes his company on the BBB as offering general construction and remodeling services. On Angi, the business says it is owner operated and uses subs for electrical, plumbing and framing. In a 2010 review of a basement project, the reviewer said Michael came in with the lowest estimate of the 7 contractors they interviewed. That 2010 reviewer said he and his crew were on time every morning, and that he saved them around $1500 by fixing the crack in their foundation and recommending they did not need the perimeter drain for water seepage. The same 2010 reviewer called the tile and corner shower unit in the bathroom "truly impressive." **Strengths:** - Basement remodel — a 2010 reviewer called the tile and shower truly impressive - Money-saving advice — a 2010 review credits about $1500 saved on foundation work ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as offering general construction and remodeling services _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/nh/hollis/profile/construction-services/michael-g-gower-0051-92036181) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): This company offers general construction and remodeling services.” - Says it is owner operated and uses subs for electrical, plumbing and framing _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nh/hollis/michael-g-gower-reviews-2090590.htm) — “About (Angi, self-described): Owner operated. uses subs for electrical, plumbing and framing. cost is determined by the job. travel charges …” - Holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/nh/hollis/profile/construction-services/michael-g-gower-0051-92036181) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Rated 5.0 stars on Angi from 1 rating _(confidence: high)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nh/hollis/michael-g-gower-reviews-2090590.htm) — “Angi: 5.0★ from 1 ratings” - In a 2010 review, he fixed a foundation crack on a basement job and saved the customer around $1500 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nh/hollis/michael-g-gower-reviews-2090590.htm) — “Michael came in with the lowest estimate of the 7 contactors we interviewed.
