## The honest read

Mike's Carpentry & Painting, LLC is a carpentry and painting business run under Mike's name.

A 2020 review says Mike was prompt to get on site and submit the bid, and that the customer was highly satisfied with the deck and repair work. A 2017 review says they replaced some boards on a deck and power-washed and stained it, and that the deck looked good when they were done. A 2016 review says Mike built a new closet and expanded two others, and that his quote for the work was reasonable. A 2016 reviewer said Mike built a custom deck and that they painted the inside of the house. A 2017 review says it did repair work to a ceiling after a roof leak from a botched repair by someone else.

A 2017 review says the painting was not professional, that paint on the stairs was peeling a month later, and that Mike refused to come back for further work. A 2018 reviewer said no work was done before winter set in and that a 50% deposit went unreturned after several weeks of no response. A 2015 reviewer said Mike ran an hour late and then canceled the same day.

- Closet build — a 2016 reviewer said the closets fit the existing structure
