## The honest read

Mike's Oil is a Tiverton heating oil company that also replaces oil tanks and boilers. A recent customer says they have been a customer for over 23 years, with Mike as their oil supplier and service provider for decades, and that he has installed a new boiler, a new hot water tank and a new Roth double-wall oil tank at their home. That customer says Nancy is quick to take or return calls and explains the details of each job.

A 2025 customer described replacing a seeping 67-year-old oil tank with a 275-gallon Roth double-walled tank. That 2025 customer said the owner came to scope the job the same day they called, the job was done one week later for less than two competing bids, and the crew left the basement as clean as they had found it.

A 2026 customer said that after running out of oil, the company delivered within hours of the call and got the furnace up and running again. A 2024 customer said they called at 8:30 in the morning and received oil by noon the same day. A 2023 customer said that when the tank ran low on Christmas Eve, the company returned the call at 8 am the day after Christmas and arrived the same day.

A 2023 customer called the woman who answers the phones rude and said the company left them stranded.

**Strengths:**
- Same-day oil delivery — a 2024 customer got oil by noon after calling
- An oil tank replacement — a 2025 customer said the basement was left clean
- A long-time supplier — a recent customer says over 23 years as a customer

**Concerns:**
- A rude phone contact — a 2023 customer said they were left stranded
