Its website puts that at nearly twenty years and its Houzz profile at nearly 25. Houzz shows 12 of its projects, a 5.0 rating from 3 ratings and licence number 47-1166349 printed on the profile. Its written reviews date from 2015. In an April 2015 Houzz review, a household said Cathleen created a mosaic basin sink for their powder room and guided them through setting up its backlighting under the vanity; another April 2015 reviewer said a custom powder-room sink ordered about 8 years earlier still drew compliments. A July 2015 review described a mosaic guest bathroom sink and a kitchen backsplash, both custom. Local news coverage has also featured her mosaic work, including a mural with Boys & Girls Club teens and a mosaic wall hanging. **Strengths:** - Custom mosaic sinks — three 2015 Houzz reviews praise them **Where sources disagree:** - The company's website says nearly twenty years of mosaic work; its Houzz profile says nearly 25 years ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Houzz: 5.0 stars from 3 ratings, with 12 projects shown _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/modern-mosaic-arts-llc-pfvwus-pf~688639575) — “Houzz: 5.0★ from 3 ratings” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/modern-mosaic-arts-llc-pfvwus-pf~688639575) — “12 project(s) shown on Houzz” - Houzz prints licence number 47-1166349 on the profile _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/modern-mosaic-arts-llc-pfvwus-pf~688639575) — “Licence listed on Houzz: 47-1166349 (licence number printed on Houzz, self-reported)” - The company says mosaic artist Cathleen Newsham designs, fabricates and installs mosaics _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://modernmosaicarts.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): For nearly twenty years, mosaic artist Cathleen Newsham has been designing, fabricating and installing deco…” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/modern-mosaic-arts-llc-pfvwus-pf~688639575) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): For nearly 25 years, mosaic artist Cathleen Newsham has been designing, fabricating and…” - 2015 reviews praise custom mosaic sinks and a kitchen backsplash _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-designers/modern-mosaic-arts-llc-pfvwus-pf~688639575) — “5★ Guest bathroom mosaic sink and a kitchen backsplash was installed.
