## The honest read

"Do they even do flooring any more?" That question comes from an August 2025 Google review of Monadnock Flooring, a flooring and carpet showroom in Westmoreland, New Hampshire. Local news coverage names Lilly as the owner and describes the showroom as owned by Lilly and Robinson, and on its BBB page the business describes itself as offering flooring options and outdoor living products.

The written reviews are few — five on Google, from 2023 to 2025 — and four of them are complaints. The August 2025 reviewer says the company installed a floor for them a couple of years earlier and did a decent job, but when subfloor trouble started they could not get a call back: told the right person was on vacation and would call, they waited a couple of months, called again several times, and heard nothing. That reviewer also writes that Matt said his son is now doing the flooring. A November 2024 reviewer describes having to chase the company for information about ordered products and "constant broken promises to return calls." An October 2025 one-star review says only "Rude."

The one detailed install account is from January 2023. That customer paid for materials five to six weeks ahead, the crew arrived on install day with two-thirds of the flooring, and the laundry room was unusable for 8 days while the rest was ordered. The job was finished and, in that customer's words, "does look good," but they said they would not use the company again.

The positive written review is a March 2023 five-star note about the showroom: "Showroom and samples of endless possibilities. Small display, yet effective." On Google the business holds 3.9 stars from 18 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+.

**Strengths:**
- Flooring showroom — a March 2023 review praised its range of samples

**Concerns:**
- Unreturned calls — August 2025 and November 2024 reviews describe no callback
- Short material delivery — January 2023 install left a laundry room unusable 8 days
- Rude service — one October 2025 one-star review
