The company says it has been in business 19 years. A 2022 customer wrote that Vadim works by himself with his wife Bruna, who helps with demo and before-and-after photos, and that he does the plumbing, electrical and tile work himself. A 2024 customer said Vadim Matskevich rebuilt a poorly constructed bathroom in a complete renovation, and that the project cost was competitive with no surprises. A 2024 reviewer said Vadim came to replace a floor in one bathroom and also remodeled bad work someone else had done on a tiled tub and shower. In a 2023 review, a customer described a bathroom renovation with tile work and a set of built-in shelves made to match the design of their 1930's house. A 2022 customer said Vadim remodeled a very little bathroom in a 1930 home, installed electrical and plumbing according to code, and cleaned up every night. A 2023 customer said Monumental converted a bedroom into a second-floor laundry room and a smaller guest bedroom, after an earlier master bathroom renovation. A 2023 reviewer said Vadim installed their attic and a decorative beam. In a 2022 review, a kitchen-remodel customer said adding a whole new floor to the living room was not a problem. A 2021 customer who said they have used the company since 2007 described painting a dark stairway, second-floor hallway and main bedroom, and replacing hollow-core doors with solid-core doors. The company holds 5.0 stars from 37 HomeAdvisor ratings and 5 stars from 22 Google ratings. It has also plowed snow: a 2018 Angi customer said driveway plowing was well done. A 2015 customer said Monumental agreed to make an unscheduled trip to salt their driveway on Super Bowl Sunday ahead of a real estate open house. A 2014 customer said the company stuck to the original schedule and budget. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0619606, as active, held by Monumental Construction LLC. **Strengths:** - A full bathroom rebuild — a 2024 customer said cost had no surprises - Matched built-in shelves — a 2023 customer described them in a 1930's house - A bedroom conversion — a 2023 customer got a laundry room and guest room - Nightly cleanup — a 2022 customer said he cleaned up every night - Schedule and budget — a 2014 customer said both were kept ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it handles kitchen, basement, whole-home and bathroom renovations _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.monumentalconstructionllc.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Ready to upgrade your home's interior?
