## The honest read

A recent customer said that after a previous company left them hanging for 2 months, they called Dennis and had an outdoor shower enclosure within a few days. MRF Fence describes itself on its website as owned and operated with over 25 years of experience, and says it offers a 5 year warranty on most jobs. On Google it holds 4.7 stars from 63 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+.

A 2025 customer said MRF Fence built a stick-built privacy fence in their back yard from 5 x 5 pressure-treated posts, 2 x 4 pressure-treated rails and dog-eared 1 x 4 cedar pickets. A 2025 customer said Mark and crew put up "~400+ feet of fence in just a few days...in January!" A 2025 customer fencing a yard perimeter for a new dog said Dennis gave advice on a fencing challenge and sent a price by email within 24 hours, and that Mark, the owner, was on the job site working on the final product.

A 2024 customer who had MRF install a cedar privacy fence the year before brought them back for a vinyl privacy fence along the side of the lot and a vinyl picket fence across the front, and said all the work was finished the same day. On a 10-foot run beside that customer's garage, they cut two 5-foot sections so the post sits in the middle, the 2024 customer said. A 2023 customer said roughly 185 feet of 4-foot black chain link with a double gate and a 5-foot gate came in below the other 4 companies that quoted, and that owner Marc threw in the double gate for free because of an error on the proposal.

A 2023 customer said part of their fence came down in a wind storm and a crew was out within 23 hours to fix it. A 2025 customer said that when a gate needed adjustments a few times, Marc sent his crew to fix the issue quickly and at no charge.

A 2022 customer whose 2 gates had been broken by a service company described a lot of back and forth, called Marc the owner very unpleasant to deal with, and said that 3 months later one of the gates had 2 cracks that Marc could not be bothered to replace or fix. A 2022 customer said they left a voicemail asking for a call back about a quote and never got one.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0641957, as active, held by MRF Fence LLC.
