On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 61 ratings. The recent Google reviews are about real jobs. An October 2026 customer whose shower surround failed said Matt came out within a day, presented a variety of options and finished the detail work with no flaws. In an August 2026 review, a family renovating a small bathroom after a pipe burst said Matt helped them through the insurance process and advised them on what to pick out. A July 2026 customer had new LVP put in and a small bathroom update done. Earlier reviews carry the same kind of work. A January 2026 bathroom remodel meant dealing with ancient plaster walls and moving plumbing. A March 2026 customer had about 350 sq ft of basement remodeled and said a few unexpected details came up and Matt provided thoughtful solutions. In a July 2025 review, Matt and his team repaired a living room ceiling damaged by water along with a half-bath ceiling, painted the half bath and added shiplap to a living room wall. A September 2025 customer had the door from the house to the garage replaced, a tricky job because of the age and style of the home. One March 2026 Google review is a 1-star complaint: the customer spoke to Matt multiple times about a quote and said no response or email came after months of waiting. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0670854, is active on the state registry. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+ and lists it as accredited. The company's own site says it has been in business 3 years, serves Bristol and nearby towns including Farmington, New Britain and Plainville, and offers free estimates. **Strengths:** - Bathroom renovations — 2025 and 2026 Google customers describe full bathroom remodels - Ceiling repairs — water-damaged and popcorn ceilings repaired in 2024 and 2025 reviews - Quick response — an October 2026 customer had Matt out within a day **Concerns:** - Quote follow-up — a March 2026 customer waited months with no quote ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.9 stars from 61 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Myers%20Home%20Improvements%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJg19kQw-754kRQ_yBnIKB5Sg) — “Google: 4.9★ from 61 ratings” - 5.0 stars from 4 ratings on Angi and 5.0 from 4 on HomeAdvisor _(confidence: medium)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.MyersHomeImprovements.140339170.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 5.0★ from 4 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/bristol/myers-home-improvements-llc-reviews-140339170.htm) — “Angi: 5.0★ from 4 ratings” - Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0670854 is active on the state registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0670854 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: MYERS HOME IMPROVEMENTS LLC” - BBB grade A+, accredited _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/bristol/profile/painting-contractors/myers-home-improvements-llc-0111-110090358) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/bristol/profile/painting-contractors/myers-home-improvements-llc-0111-110090358) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - An October 2026 customer said Matt came within a day for a failed shower surround and finished the detail work with no flaws _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT210bGRqZzBWRmhNUzJsemFsbDBWR3RWTkZsWFNHYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x28e581829c81fc43!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmtldjg0VFhMS2lzall0VGtVNFlXSGc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I had a shower surround in the house I bought last year fail this summer.
