## The honest read

A 2026 customer braced for an $8,000 full replacement of a shattered window, and said Trevor of N&J Windows and Doors looked it over and told them it could be re-glazed instead. That 2026 customer said he showed up when he said he would and kept everything clean. On Thumbtack, the contractor describes itself as having about 20 years of construction experience, specializing in carpentry.

A 2025 Thumbtack customer said Trevor rebuilt the outside window sills on a 290-year-old colonial home after other window companies either refused to work with the structure or quoted astronomical prices. That 2025 customer said he also installed a modern sliding glass door on the back of the house. A 2025 reviewer said Trevor installed a new front door and trim. A 2025 customer said Trevor installed a new window and was considerate of their preferences. A 2026 customer said they helped with projects that included installing windows for the reviewer's parents and building a sauna in a basement.

**Strengths:**
- Window re-glazing — a 2026 customer avoided an $8,000 full replacement
- Colonial window sills — a 2025 customer said Trevor rebuilt them
- A new front door — a 2025 customer said Trevor installed it with trim
