## The honest read

Call N. Joel Landscaping about a lawn and someone may be in the yard the same day. A recent customer said Nery came the day they reached out, looked at the overgrown lawn of their new home and gave a quote for mowing. Another recent hire was a junk removal that was quoted and done the same day.

The company lists Stamford, Greenwich, Wilton, Darien, Easton, Weston, Westport and Fairfield as its service area and says it has been in business 14 years.

Most of the work is yard care: mowing, seasonal cleanups and mulching. A recent customer whose previous landscaper had quit at the last minute said N. Joel responded right away, sent photos when the job was done and was hired on the spot for weekly landscaping. A 2025 customer said a fall cleanup included pruning back flowers and hedges and removing all the leaves. A 2024 customer said the team came back the morning after a spring cleanup quote to trim hedges, prune trees, clean gutters, replace downspouts and clean the flower beds.

Fences are part of the job too. A 2024 customer said N. Joel installed their fence fast with no issues and had also been doing their landscaping for over a year. A 2025 customer with an aging fence said Nery offered options to repair it rather than sell a new one. A 2023 customer said Nery and his team removed two trees and replaced a collapsed section of fence, working through an hour of heavy rain to finish in one day.

The work reaches past the lawn. A 2025 customer said the crew power washed the house, cleaned a green back patio wall back to its original cement color and replaced a large paver. A 2024 customer said Nery and his crew replaced a very old underground water pipe to solve a water issue. A 2024 customer said they came out the day before a snowstorm to quote snow removal and cleared the snow the next day as agreed.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0704402, as active, held by N Joel Landscaping LLC.

**Strengths:**
- A same-day quote — a recent customer said Nery came the day they reached out
- Same-day junk removal — a recent customer said it was done that day
- Fence installation — a 2024 customer said the fence went in fast
- A 2025 fall cleanup — that customer said hedges were pruned and leaves removed
