It holds an active Massachusetts electrician license, verified against the state registry, and is a certified Massachusetts Minority Business Enterprise. The company's work leans heavily commercial and institutional: its Procore profile shows 19 tracked projects across healthcare, industrial, institutional and commercial sectors averaging roughly $4.8 million each since joining the platform in 2023, alongside DCAMM certification and ANSI/TIA-certified structured cabling work. Beyond standard power distribution, it also handles fire alarm, access control, CCTV and structured cabling installations. The company's own site also lists residential service across a number of towns, including several on Cape Cod as well as New Bedford and Stoughton. There isn't much of a public customer-review record — one Google review from 2023 calls the owner professional, but that's the extent of it. Given how commercially focused the visible project history is, a homeowner considering NAX for residential electrical work would do well to confirm directly that the crew handles smaller residential jobs and ask for recent residential references. **Strengths:** - Verified & certified — active MA electrician license, MBE status - Commercial project depth — sizable tracked project history - Broad low-voltage scope — fire alarm, access control, cabling **Concerns:** - Thin residential review record — one review on file ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds an active Massachusetts electrician license, verified against the state registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://elicensing21.mass.gov/CitizenAccess/GeneralProperty/PropertyLookUp.aspx?isLicensee=Y&TabName=Home) — “MA electrician license 8324 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: NAX ELECTRICAL SERVICES LLC” - Holds a Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification, verified active, expiring 2029 _(confidence: high)_ - [Diversity Certification Registry](https://diversitycertification.mass.gov/BusinessDirectory/BusinessDirectorySearch.aspx) — “Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification 20220443 verified active — registry holder of recor…” - Works commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, and residential electrical projects across Massachusetts, with 19 tracked Procore projects averaging about $4.8 million since May 2023 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Procore Construction Network](https://network.procore.com/p/nax-electrical-services-llc-new-bedford) — “Procore's claimed profile for NAX Electrical Services LLC at 34 Welby Rd Suite 202, New Bedford: a specialty contractor of 10-50 employees w…” - Offers power distribution, fire alarm, structured cabling, CCTV, and access control services _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://naxelectric.com) — “A New Bedford-based electrical and low-voltage construction contractor working commercial, residential, healthcare and institutional project…” - [Procore Construction Network](https://network.procore.com/p/nax-electrical-services-llc-new-bedford) — “Services offered (Procore Construction Network): Access Control, Audio Video Communications, Electrical, Electrical Design and Engineering, …” - The company says it is DCAMM certified and ANSI/TIA certified for structured cabling _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://naxelectric.com) — “Stated certification/affiliation: DCAMM Certified” - [Official Website](https://naxelectric.com) — “Stated certification/affiliation: ANSI/TIA certified structured cabling” - Founded in 2022 by Juan Pimentel, an electrician with nearly two decades of experience from journeyman to Chief Estimator before starting the company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://naxelectric.com) — “Company history (self-reported): Founded in 2022 by Juan Pimentel, an electrician who began studying the trade in high school and spent near…” - A 2023 Google review described the owner as professional _(confidence: low)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNoaFlTYWl3RRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x382c8f18f5c53223!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIChhYSaiwE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Great guy.
