## The honest read

Nerotec LLC is hired to find and fix water leaks. A recent customer with a major pipe leak and no idea where it was said the company located and mapped the pipe, found the exact point of the leak, dug it up and repaired it in one day. On its own website, the company says its mission is to help reduce non-revenue water and preserve safe drinking water.

A recent customer who found a water leak in their driveway was referred to Nerotec through Safety Valve insurance and said the company was on site by 8am the next morning; they had water again by early afternoon. On a recent repair, a customer said the crew led by Dino G did the work in a very short time, then cleaned and re-seeded the soil.

A 2026 customer whose frozen main water pipe sprung a leak said Dino explained the pricing, came down to Greenwich in a couple of hours, and with another worker dug down 5 feet through the driveway to fix the pipe, working until after 8 pm. That 2026 customer said Dino heard the pipe leaking, so he knew exactly where to dig. A 2025 customer said Dino found a leak 6-7 ft below the surface and fixed it in the 7 ft hole he and his associate Mike dug out. A 2025 customer said the company found a hidden leak with minimal digging and stayed until 9pm to finish the job so they had water back.

A 2024 customer who needed access to a water main shut-off buried under the driveway for over 50 years said the job left the valve accessible and the driveway neat and tidy. A 2024 customer said Dino provided a fair and honest quote. In a 2023 review, a customer whose water pipe burst said Dino called after hours, saved their tree and cleaned up the dirt on the driveway. A 2023 customer described Dino as the person who runs the company.

A 2023 customer called the service "not inexpensive" and wrote that one has to decide how important pinpointing a leak is to the work to be done.

**Strengths:**
- Exact leak point — a recent customer said it was found and repaired in one day
- Next-morning arrival — a recent customer said they were on site by 8am
- Soil re-seeded — a recent customer said the crew cleaned and re-seeded after the repair
- Late finish — a 2025 customer said they stayed until 9pm to restore water

**Concerns:**
- Cost of pinpointing — a 2023 customer called the service not inexpensive
