A pool fence, a backyard dog enclosure and replacement of an old fence are among the jobs customers described in 2025 reviews of New England Fence, Inc. The company is based in Pittsfield. Google lists a 4.2-star average from 18 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade.

In a May 2025 review, a pool-fence customer said Todd made multiple visits to help them choose the fencing solution. They described the installation as quick and accurate, with no issues or mess left behind, and said Todd personally handled the final inspection. A March 2025 reviewer praised the finish work and attention to detail on a backyard dog-enclosure fence the company had built for them previously.

A November 2025 customer described replacing an old fence during rainy weather. Kathy had warned that getting a response could take a while; the customer said Todd called and visited within a reasonable time and gave a competitive estimate. They were in no hurry and felt the scheduling suited them. The crew removed the old fence and cleaned the area. When a gap remained where another fence abutted, the reviewer said Brian returned and remedied it that day. Separately, a June 2025 customer praised Todd and the crew's attention to detail and responsiveness to follow-up.

An older complaint concerned the estimate process. In a November 2019 review, a homeowners-association representative seeking fencing around two retention ponds said arranging the site visit took time and that calls and emails preceded a response more than two weeks later.
