Water had flooded a garage and seeped under the lower-level flooring when one recent customer called New England Restoration and Home Repairs. Chad, the owner, got back to them immediately and was at the house within about an hour, that customer said; an hour later two young men arrived, cleared out the garage and removed two layers of flooring. They came back over the next several days to apply antimicrobial treatment and two coats of sealant to the lower-level floor, and the customer called the pricing very reasonable.

The company says it has spent nearly 40 years in emergency restoration for Connecticut families, and its website names Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven, Hartford and Newtown as its service area. A recent customer who called about mold remediation said the company responded immediately and had a plan and a quote in a very timely manner, and that the men who came to do the work worked efficiently and cleanly. A 2025 customer said Chad gave a fair price on a demo and mold remediation project and itemized all of the work for review.

In a 2022 review, a customer said the first floor had to be stripped to the studs and concrete floor after water damage, and that the whole project took less than 10 days once it started.
