The company installs solar panels and lists a service area on its website that runs from Bridgeport to New Haven, Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, Norwalk, Danbury and New Britain, and it says it has been in business for 12 years. A recent Google customer needed their panels taken down and put back up because the roof was being replaced. That customer said Mike reached out almost right after the request went in, the appointment was scheduled right away, and the options were explained clearly. That 2025 customer said the estimate came within one day of calling, the panels went in within weeks of signing the paperwork, and the company also installed their Tesla charger. A 2025 customer said Mike was the most affordable after comparing quotes from Tesla, Trinity and SunRun, and that 95% of their energy cost has been covered since installation. A 2025 customer said they had a roof and solar put on, and that the work went quickly and the place was left clean. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A. **Strengths:** - Panel removal and reinstall — a recent customer had panels reset for a new roof - A one-day estimate — a 2025 customer said it came within a day - Competitive quote — a 2025 customer said it beat Tesla, Trinity and SunRun ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Lists a service area of Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, Norwalk, Danbury and New Britain _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.nesolardirect.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, Norwalk, Danbury, New Britain” - Says it has been in business for 12 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](https://www.nesolardirect.com) — “Self-reported 12 years in business” - A recent customer had solar panels removed and reinstalled for a roof replacement _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xSU1NGQldSbXhDYlhZdGFuTlZWM001UjFJd1JIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7e982cfbb181c8cc!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlRSSFBWRmxCbXYtanNVV3M5R1IwRHc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We needed to uninstall and then reinstall our solar panels because our roof was being replaced.
