The company's own site says it has helped multiple HOAs and the Town of Kittery for many years, from annual pruning to removals of any size, and it says it has been in business 30 years. A recent customer said Seth and his crew removed two large maples very close to the garage and cleaned up the site. A recent customer said they removed two oaks, one close to wires, and cleaned up the yard after chipping the branches. A recent customer described the removal of many larger trees, some next to the house, plus a huge amount of invasive brush, with the job site kept contained and safe. A recent customer who has used the company twice since moving to Maine named the owner as Seth Gouin and said Seth handled emergency needs on that job. A 2026 customer said the crew laid out protective mats so their equipment would not dig up the yard, and that the job carried over to a second day before they came back and finished. A 2026 customer with a fenced yard said the company has equipment that gets in through the gates without taking the fence apart, and said they had used them several times to trim limbs and take down dying trees. A 2025 customer said Seth made the arrangements with CMP and the town for the removal of six large pines, and that the work was done in three days. A 2022 customer in Eliot, ME, wrote that after wind uprooted a 65-plus-foot pine, the boss came to look within half an hour and the job was done three hours later. A recent customer called the price fair and competitive. Scheduling can take a little patience: a recent customer said they had to wait a little to get on the schedule at a busy time of year, then the team finished the job in the window estimated. **Strengths:** - Removals near structures — a recent customer had two maples taken down beside the garage - Yard protection — a 2026 customer said mats kept equipment from digging up the yard - A fair price — a recent customer called the price fair and competitive **Concerns:** - A short wait — a recent customer waited a little to get on the schedule ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has helped multiple HOAs and the Town of Kittery, from annual pruning to removals of any size _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.newenglandtrees.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): New England Tree Service Inc. has been helping multiple HOA’s and the Town of Kittery for many years.
