A wtnh.com story names Prudyvus as the owner of New Fresh Homes in Cheshire. A ctinsider.com article describes it as a home improvement and remodeling business started in Cheshire. A recent customer said New Fresh Homes just wrapped up a bathroom remodel and that Nazar advocated for them in the permitting process with the town. A recent customer who got a new entry door said Nazar and his team paid attention to the details, left everything clean when they finished, and charged very reasonable pricing. A 2026 customer said the addition to their building went from start to enclosed in about a month. A 2024 customer described a deck built on the side of the house along with the roof overhang, their second project with Nazar in five years, and said he gives detailed estimates. A 2024 customer said they called the company back to install new siding after it built a completely new roof for them a couple of years earlier. A 2023 customer described an oil flood that covered the entire basement and a complete rebuild, with Nazar returning calls while communicating with the insurance adjuster. A 2025 customer gave one star, saying he repainted moldy wood, installed a shower that leaks and failed a town inspection. A 2023 customer said a kitchen renovation that was supposed to take a month or two took almost four months, and that they were charged $900 for a dumpster that was never there. A 2024 Houzz reviewer said Nazar insisted on a $2,800 down payment for a detailed estimate on an addition, came back above the top of his earlier $180K to $240K range, and refused to refund the payment. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0650794, as active, held by New Fresh Homes LLC. **Strengths:** - Town permitting help — a recent customer said Nazar advocated for them - A clean door install — a recent customer said they left everything clean - A quick addition — a 2026 customer said start to enclosed took about a month - A deck build — a 2024 customer described a deck with a roof overhang **Concerns:** - A leaking shower — a 2025 customer said it leaks and failed town inspection - A slow kitchen job — a 2023 customer said it took almost four months - An estimate deposit — a 2024 Houzz reviewer was refused a $2,800 refund ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a Connecticut general contractor specializing in kitchens, bathrooms and basements _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://newfreshhomes.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): New Fresh Homes, LLC is proud to be Connecticut’s trusted general contractor, specializing in kitchens, bat…” - A wtnh.com story names Prudyvus as the owner of New Fresh Homes in Cheshire _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/middlesex/with-wife-stuck-in-ukraine-cheshire-business-owner-partners-with-police-to-give-back/) — “wtnh.com — Prudyvus, who owns New Fresh Homes in Cheshire, can’t stop thinking about home.” - A ctinsider.com article describes it as a home improvement and remodeling business started in Cheshire _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://www.ctinsider.com/middletown/article/Middletown-students-collect-medical-supplies-17062388.php) — “ctinsider.com — After finishing college in 2013, he moved to Connecticut, and started his own home improvement and remodeling business in Ch…” - A recent customer said Nazar advocated for them in the town permitting process during a bathroom remodel _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21saFpYRkdSM1JIWjNkdlpqVXphMmhXWTNJM1lXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x940bd4eae67ba67f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmlhZXFGR3RHZ3dvZjUza2hWY3I3YWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ New Fresh Homes just wrapped up my bathroom remodel, and I could not be happier with the final product, as well as the customer service I…” - A recent customer said the entry door crew left everything clean when they finished _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21Rd1dsbGZZMUpLWDJVeWQzRlZja0pYU2tORVNFRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x940bd4eae67ba67f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmQwWllfY1JKX2Uyd3FVckJXSkNESEE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I’m very happy with my new entry door and the entire experience.
