Its website describes pest control and wildlife management services in the Greater Boston, North Shore, South Shore and Brockton areas. In a 2025 review, a customer who has used Doug many times said he gets back to them quickly and is very careful to treat family homes with non-toxic materials. In a 2023 review, a small retail business infested with fleas wrote that Newcomb's came out within two hours, treated the space, came back two weeks later for a second treatment and gave a ninety day warranty. In a 2023 review, Doug and Melissa removed a raccoon mother and 4 babies; the traps were set on a Friday and the raccoons were gone on Monday. A 2022 review says a giant hornet's nest was removed very quickly and quietly. In a 2021 review, Doug came 2 days after the call, took care of the problem and returned 2 weeks after the initial visit to check on the results, as promised. In a 2022 review, a would-be first-time customer said the company never showed up at the scheduled time, the next day or the following morning, and never called. In a separate 2022 review, the company was supposed to return to plug the holes to prevent reinfestation but never followed through, and six or seven calls went unreturned. **Strengths:** - Wildlife removal — raccoon mother and 4 babies trapped and removed in 2023 - Hornet nests — a giant nest removed quickly and quietly in 2022 - Fast response — flea treatment within two hours, per a 2023 review **Concerns:** - Missed visits — three promised visits missed without a call in 2022 - Follow-through — a promised 2022 return to plug holes never happened ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Its website describes pest control and wildlife management in the Greater Boston, North Shore, South Shore and Brockton areas _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://newcombses.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Newcomb’s Environmental Services is a family-owned and operated business offering pest control and wildlife…” - Treats family homes with non-toxic materials, per a 2025 review _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ma/south-easton/newcombs-environmental-services-reviews-1.htm) — “Doug is such a kind professional who we have used many times now to help us with various environmental tasks.
