## The honest read

At Northeast Hardscapes and Excavation LLC, a recent customer says Landon trimmed very overgrown hemlocks and pulled out vines. The company's website lists paver patios and walkways, fire pits, retaining walls and concrete driveways, and the company says it has been in business 55 years.

A 2025 customer said Landon built a retaining wall and a walkway and installed a new lawn. A 2025 customer who called Dan and his team for a major landscaping project said he went beyond the scope of their agreement.

A 2025 reviewer wrote that Dan and his crew came out on short notice on a cold day and finished a fall cleanup on a difficult back and side hill before the snow started. A 2025 customer who needed emergency landscaping before putting a house on the market said Dan made it happen with very little notice. A 2026 customer said they were out in a couple of days for a quote and cleared a major brush area. A 2025 customer said Dan was out first thing in the morning after a late-evening message, gave a free quote and cleared multiple areas of overgrowth.
