## The honest read

Northeast Kitchen and Bathroom is a Shrewsbury-based kitchen and bath specialist that designs and installs full kitchen and bathroom remodels and also supplies cabinets, countertops, vanities, and hardware, serving Worcester County and MetroWest towns including Framingham, Marlborough, and Natick. The company says it has operated since 2014 and cites 12 years in business, and it holds a Massachusetts home improvement contractor license verified active against the state registry. It carries an A+ BBB rating as an Accredited Business.

The written record is deep and consistently detailed, and centers on lead designer Thais, named directly in dozens of reviews across 2021 through mid-2026. Reviewers describe full kitchen renovations that reworked tight or outdated layouts into modern, efficient spaces, bathroom remodels including a tub-to-walk-in-shower conversion, a 500-square-foot kitchen tile replacement, and custom cabinet and pantry work for condo and commercial clients. Multiple general contractors and designers who use the company for cabinetry and design describe them as a reliable trade partner. Reviewers consistently credit Thais and her office staff with clear 3D design proposals, staying within quoted budgets, and communicating through the project.

The record isn't spotless. In a 2024 review, a customer described an ongoing project with repeated late arrivals and shifting schedules given with little notice. Another 2024 review and a 2021 BuildZoom review both described dissatisfaction with cabinet quality and design responsiveness, one calling the designs tasteless and citing several revisions and unmet promises. A few other reviews are brief warnings with no detail given.

For a kitchen or bathroom remodel, or for cabinetry supplied to your own contractor, the reviews point to a company with an established local reputation and a verified license; given the scheduling complaints, it's worth confirming a firm start date and getting the project timeline in writing.

**Strengths:**
- Kitchen and bath remodels — years of detailed reviews credit Thais's design guidance
- On-time, on-budget delivery — many reviewers cite deadlines and quotes both held
- Verified HIC license — Massachusetts registration confirmed active by the state
- Trade relationships — other contractors and designers describe using them for cabinetry

**Concerns:**
- Scheduling reliability — a 2024 reviewer described repeated late arrivals mid-project
- Design and cabinet quality — a couple of reviewers cited poor listening or cabinet quality
