## The honest read

Northeast Tree LLC carries 229 Google ratings averaging 5 stars, and its BBB grade is A+.

A recent customer said three guys worked from 9am to 4pm, took out major branches hanging over the house and a koi pond, raised the tree canopy and thinned some older oaks. That customer added one tree to the job that turned out to be rotten inside, and thanked Allan for pointing it out. A recent customer said Adam and his team took down 4 big tricky trees. A recent customer said several large dead trees that were a danger to fall on the house and into the road were all taken down, with the heavy machinery navigated safely through the yard. A recent customer said they called right back and showed up for the estimate when they said they would.

In a 2025 review, a customer said that after a windstorm uprooted a dead oak, Adam came out the next day and gave a price to also remove five more trees damaged by gypsy moths; that 2025 customer said his crew finished the cleanup in two days. A 2025 customer in East Lyme said the appointment was not postponed even after a tropical storm dumped 8 inches of rain. A 2025 customer said a dying tree was removed along with the stump, the stump grinder came a day or two later, and another person came after that to remove the stump grinding debris. A 2025 customer said two trees of 80 ft plus were dropped so a solar grid could be installed.

In a 2024 review, a customer said Adam and Northeast Tree LLC had taken down a total of 26 trees, with logs dragged to the woods and the brush chipped. A 2024 customer said mats were used so the wheels of the bucket truck did not make divots in the soft ground of the backyard.

**Strengths:**
- Tricky tree removal — a recent customer said 4 big tricky trees came down
- A kept appointment — a 2025 customer said a storm did not postpone it
- Lawn protection — a 2024 customer said mats went under the bucket truck wheels
- Stump grinding follow-up — a 2025 customer said grinding debris was removed later
