Last 6 months: 1 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read NV Landscaping describes itself as a family owned and run small business doing year-round lawn maintenance, and the longest relationships in its reviews run for years. A July 2026 Google reviewer said the company helped plan the landscape of a newly bought house four years ago and has maintained the yard since; a July 2024 reviewer had used NV for about eight years and credited Jorge with assessing needs, with Darleen and Griselda arranging the logistics. It holds 4.8 stars from 22 Google ratings and 5.0 from 5 on HomeAdvisor. Jorge comes up by name in four Google reviews. A May 2024 customer thanked Jorge Di Scala and his team for the yard they had dreamed of, a February 2024 reviewer praised masonry work on their exterior, and an August 2022 reviewer said he is responsive and shows up when he says he will. Other reviews describe bush trimming, bed edging, mulching and a spring cleanup (April 2024), a quick yard clearing at fair pricing over the holidays (December 2024), and snow removal in two 2022 reviews. The one detailed complaint is a September 2025 one-star review from a customer of about three years who hired NV for full property maintenance. He described missed appointments for a fertilization and grass treatment, the wrong treatment applied to a bluegrass lawn after he specified the product three times, and a bill that was waived after he emailed. The company then ended service, writing that he would benefit from a dedicated gardener service it does not provide; he said he had paid nearly $7,000 over the summer. The company's website says it has been in business 15 years and offers free estimates, and HomeAdvisor lists HIC.0651911 as a CT Trade License. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0651911, as active, held by NV Landscaping LLC. **Strengths:** - Long-term clients — customers of four and eight years wrote in - Landscape planning — a 2026 reviewer had their new yard designed - Snow removal — two 2022 reviews call it reliable **Concerns:** - Full-property maintenance — a 2025 customer reported no-shows and a wrong treatment ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a family owned and run year-round lawn maintenance business _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/nv-landscaping-pfvwus-pf~1202637368) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): We are a family owned and run small business who prides on not only providing excellent…” - 4.8 stars from 22 Google ratings; 5.0 from 5 HomeAdvisor ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=NV%20Landscaping&query_place_id=ChIJ__9zp1_i54kROJsidQwyEI4) — “Google: 4.8★ from 22 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.NVLandscaping.78663250.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 5.0★ from 5 ratings” - A July 2026 customer said NV planned and has maintained their yard for four years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pkdlMzWm9kVjlUUVhRME5FdGFjbTF1ZUVSU09YYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x8e10320c75229b38!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjdvS3ZodV9TQXQ0NEtacm1ueERSOXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ NV Landscaping--a family-run business--has been an amazing partner for us over the last 4 years.
