## The honest read

O'Keefe Landscape & Irrigation is based in Merrimack. On its HomeAdvisor profile the company describes itself as a full service landscape and irrigation installation and maintenance company, founded in 1989 and incorporated in 1996; its Houzz profile adds hardscape installation. It holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau.

In a 2019 review, the writer said Shawn and his team worked on a very large project at their house, with a few large retaining walls put in as well as a walkway, patio and firepit, and that it completely changed the look of their yard. In a 2023 review, a writer who used to do their own lawncare called it another outstanding season of landscaping and said Russ and his crew are so professional. In a 2012 review, the writer said Shawn was there when he said he would be and finished the job when he said he would, and that they love their new walkways. In a 2010 review, the writer said Shawn and his crew worked quickly, built exactly what they needed and cleaned up more than they had to.

In a 2015 review, the writer said the work was a great job but that they took a long time to come and do the job, apparently due to a lack of employees at that particular time.

**Strengths:**
- Hardscape projects — 2019 retaining walls, walkway, patio and firepit
- Seasonal landscaping — 2023 review called it another outstanding season
- Cleanup — in 2010 cleaned up more than they had to

**Concerns:**
- Scheduling wait — in 2015 they took a long time to come do the job
