In May 2026 a customer wrote that they called Oakley Home Access on a Friday because their wife was coming home from rehab on Wednesday with a badly broken hip; the assessment was set for "1230 pm sharp" Monday and the estimate arrived Tuesday. Oakley is a Narragansett, Rhode Island company that adapts homes for people with mobility needs — its site lists accessible shower renovations, grab bars, ramps, stairlifts, platform lifts and Stiltz residential elevators. A 2023 r/providence commenter wrote that it is "owned and operated by an occupational therapist." Its Rhode Island home improvement contractor registration, GC-39572, is active, and the Better Business Bureau rates it A+ and lists it as accredited.

In August 2026 a reviewer wrote that Justin met with them two days after the first call and that Stan and Tom "completed the work in five days" on an accessible bathroom renovation. In October 2026 a customer thanked Dominic and Logan for installing a chair lift and working with their dad until he was comfortable using it; another October 2026 reviewer had a new handrail at the main entrance and two stability bars in the bathroom installed. An August 2026 reviewer described a Stiltz elevator installation, and another wrote that Oakley "connected my parents to a grant program which helped defray the cost of the stair lift." In November 2024 a reviewer whose bathroom was remodeled for accessibility wrote that Oakley showed up the day after the call, told them about grant money, helped with the paperwork, and blended the work with the original pink tile.

In July 2026 a three-star reviewer wrote that the installer "didn't listen, didn't finish the job, but left damage," and that it took two more technicians two more visits to finish correctly. In October 2026 a one-star reviewer described a "mishap on install" and a repair tech who "acted like he was put out."
