Google shows 4.5 stars from 24 ratings, and HomeAdvisor shows 4.9 stars from 19 ratings. A recent Google customer with a buckeye tree whose branches were getting close to the house said he came over, quoted a price that was agreeable, and came that day instead of the next week because he was in the neighborhood. After the trimming, that customer said, they chipped the branches and did a thorough clean up. On Sept 15, 2026 the same customer had a choke cherry tree surrounding a shed taken down and some surrounding trees trimmed, and felt the price was reasonable considering the labor. A 2022 customer said Leigh and his crew trimmed large branches above a deck and pool, showed up when they said they would and were reasonably priced. A 2022 customer who hired the company for tree removal said about 13 trees behind the house came down and all the wood was hand carried out so the lawn and landscaping were not damaged. A 2021 customer with very tight spaces between neighbors and the home said "the spider gets into places no other heavy, bulky wide equipment can go," and that Leigh was upfront about both price and possible problems. A 2024 customer said the trimming removed the branches a squirrel was using to get into the attic, and that they explained why extensive trimming would not be best for the tree's health. A 2021 customer said the trees were cut down, but other equipment turned a moist area of the back yard into a mud pit that was left not level enough to drive a lawn tractor over, and the truck tore up patches of a steep driveway. That 2021 customer said Leigh discounted the end price $100 and advised getting a job description in writing before the work. A 2021 customer looking for a quote said they were not notified of the company's car trouble until almost an hour after the first appointment, and the second reschedule was also a no-show. A 2023 Google reviewer wrote that they were almost run off the road by this company and had submitted dash camera proof. **Strengths:** - Tight-space trimming — a 2021 customer said the spider reached spots other equipment could not - A thorough cleanup — a recent customer said they chipped the branches and cleaned up - A 13-tree removal — a 2022 customer said all wood was hand carried out **Concerns:** - Yard and driveway damage — a 2021 customer described a mud pit and torn driveway patches - A missed appointment — a 2021 customer said a reschedule was also a no-show - Job details in writing — a 2021 customer advised getting them before the work ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as providing tree service to homeowners, with a 75 foot rear mounted bucket truck and an 83 foot spider lift _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.organicenlightenment.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): We provide tree service to homeowners such as removal of dead standing ash trees, dangerous trees overhangi…” - 4.5 stars on Google from 24 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Organic%20Enlightenment%20Company&query_place_id=ChIJkz1ijuXA54kRT5JK8-Z9vE0) — “Google: 4.5★ from 24 ratings” - 4.9 stars on HomeAdvisor from 19 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.OrganicEnlightenment.14908943.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.9★ from 19 ratings” - A recent customer said a buckeye tree was trimmed, the branches chipped and a choke cherry tree surrounding a shed taken down _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNqMS1MNkVREAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x4dbc7de6f34a924f!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICj1-L6EQ%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I have a buckeye tree whose branches were getting close to the house and needed trimming.
